Plate Beamsplitters
Partial Reflection Optics · UV Fused Silica Substrate
Plate beamsplitters split an incident beam into transmitted and reflected portions at a defined ratio. The UV fused silica substrate provides low absorption and high UV transmission, suitable for pulsed and CW laser applications from UV to near-IR. Back face AR coating eliminates secondary ghost reflections.

Coating Options
- Partial reflection coating (front face) — Dielectric or metallic; specify R:T ratio and wavelength
- AR coating (back face) — Standard on all plate beamsplitters; eliminates ghost beam
- Polarization-independent — Works for both S and P polarizations at 45° AOI
- Polarization-sensitive — Optimized for one polarization state; higher extinction ratio available on request
- Custom R:T ratios (e.g., 90:10, 5:95) and non-standard wavelengths available
